I feel like I honestly accomplished something very big here... You know when someone is so simple that it is extremely hard to get a gift for them? Well, that's my Dad. The one thing he is passionate about is Tennis. But, what can you give him to play tennis? He knows exactly the kind of racquet he likes, so it would be a waste of money getting him one (my mom and I learned this the hard way). And, the same thing happens with the tennis balls he uses, shoes etc. So, I had to think A LOT what could be a good gift for him for this father's day. And, well I think I did pretty good...
/ Jump Rope. My dad taught me how to jump the rope. And my one memory is learning with a leather jump rope exactly like this one. So, by now it probably doesn't exist. It would be nice to give him something that brings good memories to both of us.
/ Toothpick Holder. I have to start by saying that toothpicks to me are disgusting. I am sorry they are. And hey, my dad could be responsible for the way I feel about them. So, since I know he is not going to stop using them, wouldn't this awesome holder make the experience better? I think so. This is a must have for my dad.
/Manicure Kit. I've always loved my Dad's hands. They are cute and chunky and he always likes to have them clean and polished. So, a nice kit like this one would be a good gift for him.
/ Coffee Maker. When possible my Dad likes to make his coffee the old school way. And by old school I mean using socks to brew coffee. Yes! Socks. I almost died the day I saw that. So, this is definitely a refined way to brew coffee the way he likes it.
/ Lunch Bag. When my Dad is on a healthy mode sometimes he likes taking to work his lunch from home. The awesome food that my Mom makes by the way. And, isn't this bag awesome? I want it for my self.
/Press Orange Juicer. My Dad loves fresh orange juice. And, to be honest when I go home this is one of the things I enjoy the most. It is so common in Colombia to have fresh orange juice every morning. I wish I had the time to do this here. Well this is a pretty cool press to not leave your fingers in the manual press every day Daddy :)
