MOTHER'S DAY OUTFITS

Our moms have always been fashion lovers. If you could see their closets.. you'll be amazed by the amount of shoes and purses they have.. They are sisters but their style is different. My mom (Nat's) is more artistic, she is an Interior Designer and she loves wearing loose clothes, boots, patterns and weird shoes. And my aunt (Maria P's mom) is more elegant, she works in a bank and needs to have a different wardrobe. She loves neutral colors, solids and tighter clothes. Also, like any mom.. or women I should say.. their mood changes every day.. and who would judge them, I mean.. they raised us. That's not easy task. So, my cousin put 3 outfits together inspired on our moms style. We love our moms and their styles too.

BOHO CHIC FOR SUMMER

I love textiles, colors and triangles.. so how not to like this Boho influence in fashion? Ever since Coachela my cousin and I wanted to make a post with some outfits influenced by this trend. As you know I live in Florida and we can probably say that 80% of the time is summer here. I mean in December and January we had 70 and 80 degree weather. That is not winter at all. So, getting creative with outfits in this weather is a little boring some times. But, when you find pieces like this jacket it is so easy to make a simple outfit turn in a fun and colorful one, specially for this weather. (I don't use earrings (Nat talking) but honestly these ones here are making me think about changing that)
I love this outfit and specially those pants. This would totally work to go to the office. I wear really casual clothes to work. Again, is Florida.. and it's a really small office so there is nothing formal about it.. I mentioned before that I usually don't wear shorts or skirts.. but I've been trying shorts a little more during the weekends.. but to work.. I refuse to wear them! Not only is 50 degrees inside any building in Florida but I just don't fill comfortable wearing shorts having my boss next to me the whole day (Not that he is creepy or anything, I just feel weird). So, a pair of pants like these ones are awesome to give a little touch to the same boring outfit everyday.

SAILOR STRIPES

I took serious the "stripes never go old" thing and that's why I want to talk about this look today. Specially, the white and blue stripes that I am a fan of. A lot of women are afraid of these horizontal lines on their clothes. But, it's impossible not to love them because they look good in any occasion. Here, I show you 4 different looks that you can wear with the same stripped top. A pair of jeans are always a good idea for a casual look or maybe shorts for a beach day. Or, if you have a more formal occasion you can pair it up with a skirt. I love this look. At night, you can wear heels and bring out the sailor style in you look. This always looks amazing. You will find so many ways to wear this. We love it! !

YEY! TO EARTH TONE COLORS

Have you ever thought about the fact that a parka coat is one of the clothing pieces more antiques ever but is always up do date in fashion? The problem is you can get to wear them if you live in a cold area or.. if a cold front hits where you live (like Florida this week, 40-50 degrees.WHAT!?) So, when this happens, a coat comes in handy. We can get them in any color, length and fabric. Just pick the one that fits better with your style and show it off. Today, I wanted to give the outfit a more casual look with jeans, a woven sweater, and this boots that match with the coat. Also, I thought this red cambridge satchel was super cute. Well, for those of you who wear coats more often.. enjoy them and have fun putting your outfit together with lovely colors like these ones!
