So, I haven't really shared posts of food so I thought it was time to do it. I have to be honest, this is one of the hardest things to photograph. I could post pictures and share recipes of all the stuff I make during the week. But, since I cook mostly at night I am never happy with the quality of the pictures. Well, today I had the chance to come home during my lunch time at work so I took some pictures of the salad I made. I love salads and specially the ones with fruits. It is so easy to make a good salad when you add any fruit. My favorites to use on salads are berries, oranges, mandarines, pineapple and mango. And, of course avocado. I added strawberries to this one, yesterday they had them on sale at Whole Foods so I bought 3 boxes :)
INGREDIENTS:
-Mixed Greens
-Strawberries
-Diced Onion ( Once is diced I leave it in hot water for 2 minutes and then iced cold water to get rid a little of the strong taste)
-Dried Cranberries
-Feta Cheese
-Sun Flower Seeds
-Sliced Almonds
-Salmon seasoned with salt and pepper and cooked on a pan with olive oil.
For the dressing I used one that I bought at Whole Foods since I didn't have a lot of time to make it during my lunch hour. If you ever see it at the store I really recommend it. It's very good and healthy. The taste is a little citric so if you want you can use some white vinegar and honey for the dressing.
